Gardens

Healing Garden:

Nestled in one of the most secluded and beautiful areas of the park, this garden provides small, private spaces for reflection and contemplation.

Labyrinth:

Walk the interweaving paths of the stone labyrinth to focus yourself inward and away from the chaos of the external world.

The Gathering Space:

An open, welcoming, green space, the grassy area surrounded by benches and a cascading rock waterfall provides a centralized space for people to connect with others who have walked the cancer journey, share stories, and find support. The lower area at the base of the waterfall will honor Tom Keith, co-founder and initial landscape architect for CSP, with a small, bronze replica of his hat.

The Children’s Garden:

The Children’s Garden is designed to honor those children facing cancer and to share the power of courage. The hallmark of this area is the large bronze sculpture by Charles Pate, Jr. entitled “Fear Not.” Charles and his mother, Toni, have written and illustrated a children’s book about courage that is awaiting sponsorship.
