July 2026: Life rarely moves in a straight line. Sometimes we take a step forward, only to find ourselves taking a step back. Yet, as the saying goes, perhaps that isn’t failure at all – perhaps it’s simply part of the dance.
Reflect on a season in your life when things did not unfold as you had hoped or planned. Where have you experienced setbacks, pauses, or unexpected turns? How might these moments be part of the rhythm of your journey rather than signs that you are off course? As you consider the dance of balance between joy and challenge, striving and resting, ask yourself: What step in my life feels most difficult right now? Where have I shown resilience, grace, or adaptability in the face of change? What am I learning about balance during this season? How can gratitude help me embrace the dance, even when the steps are unfamiliar?
Take a moment to honor both your progress and your pauses. Life’s beauty is not found in perfect choreography, but in our willingness to keep dancing.
June 2026: As we welcome June and honor National Cancer Survivor Month, this special Start Fresh meditation invites you to pause, breathe and begin again with intention. Through energizing breathwork and gentle reflection, this practice offers space to release heaviness, reconnect with hope and notice the beauty that can still appear even in difficult seasons.
Inspired by the idea that light can be found after the storm, this meditation encourages you to look for moments of grace, strength and renewal and to become that source of encouragement for someone else.
Take a few quiet minutes for yourself, settle into your breath and let this practice guide you toward peace, resilience, and a fresh start.
May 2026: This month’s Start Fresh reflection is a reminder that healing is not something to hide. Our scars tell stories of courage, resilience, and survival. They are evidence of what we have endured and the strength that carried us through.
Self Reflection: Never be ashamed of a scar. It simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you. Everyone has scars – whether you can see them or not. Wear yours with pride. “These are my medals, etched in skin, A story of where I have been. They are not flaws, but warrior signs, Proof of the hardest, steepest climbs. A stubborn light that would not fade I am here I survived I will not fade”
At Cancer Survivors Park, we honor every story, every scar and every step forward.
April 2026:Welcome to April’s Start Fresh meditation, a gentle space to reconnect with your creativity, quiet the mental noise, and open yourself to fresh inspiration. This month’s practice centers on the power of mantra. Repeating a mantra can help calm the mind, focus attention, reduce stress, and create space for clarity, resilience, and deeper presence. When we return to a single phrase again and again, we begin to soften distraction and strengthen our connection to inner wisdom. In this meditation, we focus on creativity, imagination, and trust in the ideas that want to come through us.
Self Reflection Prompt: Choose a mantra below and repeat it to self and write it down daily for 7 days. Journal on what transpires as a result.
- “Inspiration comes naturally and easily to me.”
- “I am a creative being with limitless imagination.”
- “I trust my inner creative guide.”
- “I am open to new, innovative ideas.”
- “I make space in my life to create and explore”
March 2026: This month’s practice includes calming breathwork, a short self-reflection activity, and meditative sound to support peace, clarity, and renewed energy. Inspired by the themes of inner growth and personal power, this session invites you to notice what fills your cup—and what drains it—so you can move forward with intention. Take a few moments to pause, breathe, and start fresh with us.
Self Reflection Prompt: Draw a circle. Inside the circle write down all that energizes you and brings you joy. On the outside of the circle write down what pulls energy from you and steals your joy. Sit and reflect on that for at least 3 minutes the goal is to do more of what is in the circle than outside of circle
February 2026: In honor of World Cancer Day (February 4) and this year’s theme, United by Unique, this Start Fresh breathwork session invites you to pause, breathe, and reflect on the power of our individual journeys coming together in strength and community.
This session is inspired by The Crayon Box That Talked, a story about crayons learning to appreciate their differences and discovering that their unique colors create something more beautiful when they work together. As we reflect on United by Unique, we honor how our individual stories, experiences, cultures, and journeys come together to form a vibrant, meaningful tapestry.
Reflection Question: What is a unique quality you have that you can share with others?
January 2026: This month’s recording begins with a breath-centered grounding practice, inviting participants to settle into comfort and reconnect with the body. Through segmented breathwork and the mantra: “With this breath, I cultivate compassion, patience and inner wisdom” participants are guided into deeper presence and awareness. This practice supports stress reduction, improved lung function, nervous system regulation, and enhanced energy.
Drawing on various literary sources, today’s inspiration is from Matthew 5:13, this session reflects on what it means to be the “salt of the earth” – to bring flavor, connection and meaning to the world around us. Just as salt enhances and preserves, our presence can uplift others, enrich community and illuminate truth.
