Survivorship

Survivorship

Today, there are more than 16.9 million Americans alive with a history of cancer. For many of them, cancer has become something they will learn to live with for the remainder of their lives. The Center for Hope & Healing (CHH) works with the entire cancer community to provide the knowledge, resources, and inspiration to help empower survivors to live that life to the fullest—in mind, body, and spirit.

What is Survivorship?

A survivor is anyone with cancer from the moment of diagnosis forward. In addition, family members, caregivers, and those who lost a loved one to cancer are also survivors.

Cancer Resiliency

For cancer survivors, dealing with the fear of recurrence is a real issue. Cancer resiliency provides survivors with the tools to decrease that risk.

Life Beyond Cancer

Transitioning from treatment to survivorship is not always easy. Programs available to increase physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being can help.
